2009.12.15: Exclusive AmigaSYS 5 presentation (AGA, WinUAE)!

Soon the year is over and holidays are coming...
I've read forums and received many emails since I announced the development of AmigaSYS 5.
I felt from the words from many of you that you have doubts regarding the release of AmigaSYS 5, since the whole project is surrounded by a great silence as if nothing had happened. Of course this is not the case :)

Now as Christmas is near, I will give some information about the current state of AmigaSYS5 AGA and WinUAE versions. This is a Christmas gift to you and the sceptics :)

I will not reveal many extra information (it will come later) but some screenshots to show how it will look like. There's plenty of work to be done, I'm not in a hurry, no deadlines, but it's for sure that AmigaSYS 5 will include huge changes compared to the previous versions.

I spent a lot of time in version 5 with creating wallpapers, boot images, program configs, scripts and ideas. I think the amount of time spent on it can be seen on the pictures.

Many of you requested Directory Opus in AGA version, so it's here (although FileMaster is still available).

2009.07.08: Amiga Forever 2009

Amiga Forever 2009 released!

I'm glad to announce that as result of cooperation between AmigaSYS and Amiga Forever, one of the new features in 2009 versions is the optional AmigaSYS system addon. This version is almost the same as the original AmigaSYS 4 WinUAE, only some changes were made, like the special Amiga Forever 3.X ROM support, different installers, pictures, etc. Amiga Forever Player's interface is very easy to use, everyone can setup AmigaSYS in seconds. The installation requires an internet connection.

2009.02.02: AmigaSYS 4 - Xbox version released!

With a bit of delay, but finally arrived the AmigaSYS 4 - Xbox version.

The Xbox version is based fully on the AGA version, with several updates, news, and a whole new outfit, with some new Xbox extra.

In the AmigaSYS 4 series, the following version is the XBOX, and because of this, we used the new stuffs there first, for example the totally redesigned installers, (the 2 disked install can be installed without disk swapping), even better program configurations, better compatibility and better handle.

Now, the language support increased from 5 to 6, the french language support is finally done, wich is implemented into the XBOX version first...
